Prior to founding Climate Vision, Adrian Deveny spent 13 year working in the United States Senate, most recently as the Director of Energy and Environmental Policy for Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer. In that role, he led the climate and energy negotiations on the Inflation Reduction Act, the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, the CHIPS and Science Act, and the Energy Act of 2020, among other legislation.
Adrian also worked for U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley, serving as both Legislative Director and Director of Energy and Environmental Policy, as well as for the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources as a fellow.
Before his career on Capitol Hill, Adrian worked in the Office of Global Change at the U.S. Department of State, and in the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy at the U.S. Department of Energy, as a Presidential Management Fellow.
Adrian holds a Master of Environmental Management degree from the Yale School of the Environment, a Master of Arts degree in International and Development Economics from Yale University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
